photos of former armory 2000-2008
On October 20th 2008 demolition of former armory surprisingly began. Until then it was a listed building, being vacant for more than 14 years.
The building was constructed as an armory in 1936. After takeover of the site by German Bundeswehr it was used as a workshop. In 2000 it was the only building that was listed. However a proper concept for a further use was missing. At the end of 2005 all interior walls were torn down by unknown perpetrators.
